Snoopy Magnetic Doorbell — Peanuts Doghouse Door Chime

SNOOPY × PEANUTS — the doghouse doorbell

Snoopy does what he always does: lies flat on the roof and lets the world come to him. Underneath, a solid brass bell sits in the dark of his doghouse. Hang the whole thing on a steel door and every swing rings it — one small, ridiculous sound to announce that someone is home.

✦ Why it works

• Magnet, not screws. The back is magnetic. It grabs any flat steel surface and lifts off clean — no drill, no hooks, no sticky pad left on the paint.
• Brass bell, a real ring. No speaker, no chip, nothing to charge. A solid brass bell that rings when the door moves.
• Doubles as a fridge magnet. Same fitting, same noise — kitchen, locker, filing cabinet, steel door. Wherever it sticks, it rings.
• Gift boxed. Arrives in the printed mint box with a ribbon, so it goes straight from the parcel to the birthday.

✦ Good to know

• The magnet only holds on steel. Wood, glass, fibreglass and aluminium doors will not hold it — test the spot with a fridge magnet before you commit.
• It rings from movement, not from pressing. A door that swings will ring it; one pushed shut slowly may not.
